This is one of my first experience as director of a 3D commercial.
Acqua Lete is one of Italy's most famous Italian mineral waters and this is just the latest chapter in a long series of commercials showing these tiny happy cells enjoying the benefits of the product.
I immediately thought that CGI represented a great opportunity to shape the desires of my “mise en scene.”
As soon as the agency explained to me the oriental mood of the commercial, I suddenly throwback to Hong Kong B movies I used to watch when I was a kid to create great mass scenes.
But the most exciting thing was realizing that by working with a 3D team I could , finally, be able to have super fast camera movements.
